Why I Built Warranty Wallet — and Why You Probably Need It Too
Warranty Wallet is a AI app that helps you track, manage, and claim product warranties with ease. Simply upload your receipts or invoices and relax.
Have you ever had that moment when your gadget breaks… and you swear it’s still under warranty… but you can’t find the damn receipt?
Yeah. Me too.
A few weeks ago, my water purifier stopped working. It wasn’t even a year old. I vaguely remembered that it had a two-year warranty, but I couldn’t find the invoice. I checked email, WhatsApp, cloud drives, drawers — everything. Nothing. Eventually, I gave up and paid for the repair. ₹1,000 down the drain, just because I couldn’t find a tiny piece of paper.
That’s when it hit me:
We buy expensive products. They come with warranties. But most of us never claim them — not because we forget, but because we’re not organized.
So I built
Warranty Wallet
It’s a simple app (the best ideas often are).
You upload your invoices, warranty cards, or even just a photo of the product’s box. That’s it. The app reads the data, tracks the warranty period, and reminds you before it expires.
It tells you:
What products you own
Which ones are still under warranty
Which ones are expiring soon
And helps you to claim them, when you need to
It even helps with claims by pulling up the original receipt instantly — no hunting through Gmail or Dropbox.
Why does this matter?
Because modern life is filled with stuff. Phones, fridges, air purifiers, smart watches, ACs, earphones — every second thing has a warranty. We think we’ll remember the details. We won’t.
I wanted to build a no-nonsense solution to a real problem. Not another fancy app. Just something that saves people time, money, and frustration. Something I’d actually use myself.
Built for people like me (and probably you)
I built Warranty Wallet for myself. But if you’re reading this, chances are you’ve faced the same struggle — and I genuinely believe this will help.
You don’t need to be super organized. You don’t need to remember dates. Just upload the proof once, and the app does the rest.
Coming Soon…
I am working on some cool features next:
Warranty terms reader – This one I’m personally excited about. The app will read the fine print in your warranty T&Cs and tell you what actually matters — like:
What’s not covered
Hidden conditions (like service every 6 months or the warranty is void)
What documents you need to keep
It’ll warn you before you accidentally void your warranty.
Family sharing – So your parents don’t call you to ask, “Beta, is the fridge still in warranty?”
But even the basic version — just a clean, visual vault of your warranties — can already save you thousands.
TL;DR?
You’ve got warranties. You’re not tracking them.
Warranty Wallet helps you stay on top of them — so you actually claim what you’re entitled to.
If that sounds useful, try it out. Built with love, frustration, and a bit of caffeine.
